よく分かりませんが、デバイス自体は (eth0 は ThinkPad に内蔵の NIC で)
eth1 として見えています。wlan0 なんてのは存在しません(昔 Debian かなに
かを入れたときは存在したように思うのですが)。/etc/modules.conf もいじっ
ていません。/etc/pcmcia の下もいじっていません。linux-wlan-ng も入れて
いません。カーネル側の PCMCIA サポートを有効にし、hermes と orinoco モ
ジュールを組み込んで使っています。dmesg すると
